Mr Sakamoto Shigeki started his career as an administrative staff at Waseda University in 2000, just after his graduation at the same university. In the last 20 years at Waseda, he has worked at Advanced Research Institute for Science and Engineering, Graduate School of Economics Office, Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies (GSAPS) in Tokyo for 16 years in total. Since 2017, he is currently based in Singapore as a Regional Manager (SouthEast/South Asia) at Waseda University Branch Office Singapore.
Throughout his career at Waseda, he mostly engaged in supporting international students at the graduate school offices before his current position in Singapore.
