These Rules (“the Rules”) apply to Scholarship Guide Survey 2023 (“the Survey”) / Prize Draw (“the Prize Draw”) by Scholarship Guide Pte Ltd (“SGPL”). By participating in the Survey / the Prize Draw organised by SGPL, you (“the participant”) agree to accept the below Official Rules.
- ELIGIBILITY
1.1. The Survey and the Prize Draw are open only to residents in Singapore. The participant must truthfully select their current status on the survey’s first page. Failure to do so will result in disqualification in the Prize Draw.
1.2. Employees of SGPL and partners of SGPL are not eligible to participate in the Survey and Prize Draw.
- SURVEY PERIOD
2.1. All entries to the Prize Draw must be received between 1 September 2023 and 30 November 2023, 2359hrs Singapore time.
- PARTICIPATION IN THE SURVEY
3.1. The participant certifies that all information provided when taking the Survey is accurate. Any misrepresentation of any fact or particulars (deemed material by SGPL) shall result in disqualification and/or the forfeiture, withholding, withdrawal or reclaiming of any prizes won.
3.2. Each Survey entry qualifies the participant for a chance to win a prize in the Prize Draw.
3.3 Only one entry is allowed per participant.
- DATE OF THE DRAW
4.1. SGPL will hold the Prize Draw on and at the advertised date, time and venue manually or electronically but reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to conduct the Prize Draw by another date and/or mode in such circumstances as SGPL may deem appropriate, without prior notice to the participant.
5 PRIZES
5.1. Three (3) prizes will be awarded to three (3) winners of the Prize Draw.
Prizes are described below:
2 Consolation Prizes: Apple Airpod Pro
1 Grand Prize: Nintendo Switch Console 5.2. When the Survey date closes, a list of participants will be established by SGPL. Two (2) winners will randomly be selected amongst the eligible participants to be awarded the consolation prizes. One (1) final winner will then be selected from the remaining list to win one (1) Grand Prize.
5.3. The participant is deemed a winner if he or her current student status is verified as he or she provided in the Survey.
5.4. The prizes awarded cannot be exchanged or converted into cash. SGPL accepts no responsibility for any tax or other liability arising from the prize winnings. Prizes are subject to availability, and SGPL reserves the right to substitute, withdraw, add or alter any of the prizes described above with other prizes of higher or equal value without prior notice to the participant.
- WINNERS NOTIFICATION
6.1. Winners will be notified by email. If a winner cannot be contacted due to an incorrect email address given or fails to respond within 48 hours from the first email, this participant will be disqualified, and another winner will be picked. SGPL’s decision on the winners is final, and no correspondence will be entertained. SGPL’s decision at all stages of the Prize Draw is final. No enquiries appeal, verbal or written, shall be entertained. The participant shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by SGPL concerning, without limitation, these terms and conditions, the rules, procedures and regulations of the Prize Draw, the award of prizes and any other matters relating to the Prize Draw.
- PRIZE COLLECTION
7.1 Winners are required to provide their full particulars, including their full NRIC/Passport/Identification number, for the purpose of verification and audit. All prizes which are not won or remain unclaimed after two weeks of the announcement of the winners will be forfeited.
- PUBLICITY
8.1. All winners may be asked to participate in publicity. By accepting the prize, each winner grants SGPL the right to use their name, likeness, biographical information, photograph and the fact that the winner has won a prize for any lawful purpose, without obtaining further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law.
- LIABILITY
9.1. SGPL shall not be responsible for delayed, lost, misaddressed, incomplete participation, messages or emails or for damages or losses of any kind, including, without limitation: (i) special, consequential, indirect or economic losses or damages; or (ii) loss of any of the following: income, revenue, business, profit, anticipated savings, data, time or use, in each case whether such loss or damage arises out of or relating to your use of the Website or a prize.
9.2. SGPL shall not be responsible for any damage to participants’ computers related to the participation to the Prize Draw or the download of information required to participate in the Prize Draw.
9.3. If SGPL does have any liability to you for any reason, this shall be limited to the monetary value of the highest prize. Nothing in this section shall limit or exclude liability for (i) death or personal injury arising as a result of SGPL’s negligence; (ii) losses you suffer which are a reasonably foreseeable consequence of SGPL’s failure to comply with these Rules; (iii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iv) any other matter for which it would be illegal or unlawful for SGPL to exclude or attempt to exclude liability.
- PERSONAL DATA
10.1. SGPL will store all personal data related to the Prize Draw.
10.2. The participants’ personal data will be used by SGPL to email the winners about their prizes and for shipping the prizes to the winners. It may also be used for publicity, as described in paragraph 8. By participating in this Prize Draw, participants accept for their personal data to be used as stated in this clause in case they win one of the Prizes.
